The Grandest of tours. We set off at the foot of the Majestic Table Mountain (A new Natural Wonder of
the world). Passing small fishing communities and spectacular landscapes, we find ourselves in the
vastness of Namibia. We view one of the biggest canyons in the world, star at some of the highest
dunes of the planet, before we head for a unique safari on the white pans of Etosha National Park. We
follow in the footsteps of the Kalahari Bushmen. We then head into to the splendid, unspoiled beauty of
the Nature of Botswana. We follow in the footsteps of the Giants, the African Elephant. We finally
stand in awe of the largest sheet of falling water at Victoria Falls.

Day 1 Full day Winelands
After breakfast we set off to the magnificent valley of vineyards on vineyards
No visit to South Africa is complete without a taster of the fine wines produced locally
We visit all 3 major wine routes the countryside has to offer
We start off with Paarl, on to Franschoek and finish with Stellenbosch.

We return to our accommodation in the late afternoon

Day 2 Full day Peninsula
Today we depart on a full day on one of the most scenic drives along our coast.
We visit a small harbor town where we also have some time to browse the local arts and crafts and perhaps time for a coffee overlooking the fishing vessels.
We then head up the famous Chapman's Peak drive. This is one of the most scenic drives, and the views are splendid.
Our next stop is at Cape Point, where we go up to the old lighthouse and admire the views.
We then stop of at Cape of Good Hope where we stand in the footsteps of the early explorers as well as the most South Western Tip of Africa.
Lunch on own account
We then follow the route to the colony of African Penguins at Boulders beach.
We return to the hotel in the late afternoon
We have a welcome dinner included this evening
Day 3 Cape Town
Breakfast included
We start the day heading up the famous Table Mountain (Weather depending)
We take the cable way up to the top. With about a 3 minute ride to the top, the cable way is an adventure on its own. With the floor rotating, it offers superb views of the city
On top are numerous viewpoints, a WiFi lounge, curio shop and fully stocked restaurant
Once we are down, we commence with a short city tour where we visit:
The first official garden in South Africa, namely Company's Gardens,
The oldest colonial building in South Africa, The Castle of Good Hope
Cape Town City Hall, the site of Nelson Mandela's first speech as a free man
We visit Green Market Square, a local street vendor market
We visit Bo- Kaap and the Malay quarter
We then return to our accommodation

Optional excursion to Robben Island (Depend on weather and availability)
Day 4 West Coast
After breakfast we bid farewell to the “Mother City”
We make one last stop to admire Table Mountain before we head north
We travel past numerous West Coast villages and past the Cold Waters of the Atlantic Ocean
Lunch (Own account)
Our next destination is the small fishing village of Lamberts Bay
Situated on the coast we explore the beach, and for those interested there is one of the largest breeding colonies of Cape Gannet birds to be found.
Tonight dinner is included in the Muisbosskerm.
This restaurant is authentic of the dishes found on the West Coast. Literally built on the beach and in the sand it offers a unique experience. The sunsets from here are truly amazing.

Day 5 Orange River
After breakfast we continue north
Today we are heading for the longest river in South Africa, namely the Orange River, which is over 2000km long.
Once we have completed the border formalities, we drive the short distance to our overnight stop.
In the afternoon we have time to relax by the swimming pool, or partake in a canoe excursion (Own expense)
On the canoe excursion we go onto the river, completely safe of hippos and crocodiles, and paddle downstream, occasionally crossing one of the many rapids, under the guidance of an experienced guide.
Dinner tonight is enjoyed at our accommodation
Day 6 Ais Ais Hot springs
After breakfast we depart north
A short drive today, our first stop will be at the magnificent Fish River Canyon. This Canyon is about 165km long, 25km wide and about 500m deep. This canyon is the second largest in the world, the views are spectacular.
After a brief stop for a coffee and lunch at an authentic Namibian Roadhouse, we continue to our overnight accommodation
Our accommodation tonight is at a natural hot spring. You will have time to soak in the hot mineral waters, and also explore the area.

Day 7 Namib Desert
After breakfast we head to the Namib desert, the oldest claim desert in the world.
We pass numerous beautiful landscapes, and this is where we start to feel the isolation Namibia is famous for.

In the afternoon we arrive at our accommodation for the next 2 nights.

Day 8 Sossusvlei
Today is an absolute highlight of the tour!
Leaving before sunrise we head for Sossusvlei. This is one of the most famous landmarks in Namibia
As soon as the sun rises we enter through the gates. As we follow the tarred road, we enter an area surrounded by towering red sand dunes on both sides of the road
The dunes here rise to 350m high in places
Our first stop is at Sossusvlei Parking
From here we board 4x4 jeeps and drive deep into the sand dunes
We disembark and head for the spectacular Deadvlei. A dried out marsh once teaming with water and creatures, but due to the natural winds have dried up. The skeletons of the trees that remain is said to be 800 years old. This makes for spectacular photos
From here we transfer to Sossusvlei (Namib word for “Place of no return” or “Dead end marsh”
Then back to our vehicle and on the way back to the gate we make a stop at Dune 45.

After lunch a time for siesta
In the late afternoon we re-enter the park, and go for a hike in the Sesriem Canyon. So aptly named as the early pioneers used 6 Riems (Strings) made from leather to scoop water for them and their horses.
We return to camp for siesta and for dinner
Day 9 Swakopmund
Today we head for the coast
Our first stop is in Solitaire
As small town with nothing more than a shop, bakery and filling station.
We stop at the most famous bakery in the desert, where the “world” famous apple crumbles are made
We spend the next 2 nights at Swakopmund, a town with its roots steeped in German architecture and history
On arrival we check into our accommodation
Swakopmund is also known as the “adventure capital” of Namibia

Day 10 Swakopmund

Leisure day to explore and participate in activities
Day 11 Damara Land
After breakfast we head north to Damaraland. This area is considered one of the most isolated areas in Namibia.
We stop off at various sites

We then drive the short distance to our accommodation

Day 12 Etosha
After breakfast we drive towards Etosha National Park.
We spent 3 nights in the park at the rest camps
After lunch we enter the park, we drive the short distance to the rest camp
On arrival we check in to our accommodation
In the cooler hours later in the afternoon we embark on our first safari
On return we have dinner at the camp
Dont forget to pay a visit to the waterhole, which stays lit up the whole evening
Day 13 Etosha
This morning we have the opportunity to embark on a morning safari with open jeeps (own account)
On return we have breakfast
Then we have time to relax by the pool
Dont forget to pay a visit to the waterhole
In the afternoon we depart for a safari in our vehicle

Day 14 Etosha
After breakfast we drive to the east of the park
We keep looking for animals along our drive
The East receives a higher amount of rainfall
We stop for lunch along the way
On arrival at camp we check into our accommodation
Dinner at the camp
Day 15 Windhoek
We head for the Capital City of Namibia after breakfast
We stop over at a local market where many curios can be bought
On arrival we do a short city tour We check into our accommodation
Tonight we go for dinner at a famous restaurant in town (Included)
Day 16 Gobabis
After breakfast we do a short city orientation tour
We then head east through the Kalahari Desert
We are heading to the land of the bushman
We check in to our accommodation
In the late afternoon we do a walk with the bushman. These are the first inhabitants of many parts of Southern Africa.
They teach us their ways of surviving in this desolate environment
They also show us their hunting equipment and how to track animals, as well as the medicinal uses of plants
We return to camp for dinner
Day 17 Maun
A long drive today
Today we bod farewell to Namibia, and welcome our third country for the tour, Botswana
We cross the Kalahari desert to the town of Maun
Lunch along the way
The town of Maun is considered the “Gateway” to the Okovango Delta
On arrival we check in to our accommodation
Tonight we have to pack for the mobile safari into the Okovango Delta for the next two nights

Day 18 to 20
After breakfast we head for the wilderness
Our next three nights is spent in the absolute wilderness

Day 21 Makgadigadi
After breakfast we bid farewell and head for Makgadigadi Pans

Day 22 Chobe
Breakfast included
We drive north to the famous Chobe National Park. This park is famous for its huge herds of elephants and other animals
We check into our accommodation
In the late afternoon we depart on a sunset cruise. This boat cruise we float leisurely down the river, stopping for birds and animals along the way
We also salute to an amazing African Sunset

Day 23
We depart on an early morning safari in Chobe National Park
On arrival back we have breakfast
We then head for the border of our fourth country for the tour
On completion at the border we proceed to the lively town of Victoria Falls
We check in to our accommodation

Day 24
After Breakfast we visit the Victoria Falls (Included)
Our tour ends after lunch (Own expense)
